Harmony Rein Equestrian is a family-owned equestrian facility located in Mendon, New York, dedicated to providing a safe, welcoming, and supportive environment for riders of all ages and experience levels. We specialize in beginner-focused hunter/jumper riding lessons, pony camps, and full-care horse boarding, with an emphasis on building confidence, strong horsemanship skills, and a lifelong love of horses.

Founded by Alexandra and Ryan Bowen, Harmony Rein Equestrian was created to fill a growing need for structured, accessible English riding programs that place safety, education, and individual rider development first. We believe every rider deserves quality instruction, patient guidance, and the opportunity to learn at their own pace.

Our unique combination of lifelong equestrian passion and engineering expertise shapes everything we do. Alexandra brings hands-on experience in daily horse care and barn operations, while Ryan is an engineer and inventor whose patented technology powers the NightWatch® Smart Halter, an innovative equine health monitoring system trusted by horse owners around the world. Together, they have built Harmony Rein Equestrian with a commitment to thoughtful management, continuous improvement, and exceptional care for both horses and riders.

Whether you're taking your very first riding lesson, looking for a trusted boarding facility, or hoping to advance your skills in the hunter/jumper discipline, our goal is to provide a positive, professional, and enjoyable experience where both horses and riders can thrive.
